REPRODUCTION GAS BURNING COAL BASKET IN THE INDUSTRY! Old Salem Hearths has produced the this technologically sophisticated vent free coal basket to be the most realistic and safest in the industry. Each coal basket is completely assembled in our east coast USA factory and subjected to critical emission testing procedures. Each basket is delivered with its specific test data results to assure you that you are getting the safest best performing product that we can possible produce or you. The vent free basket is produced to operate on either Propane or Natural Gas. The integrated Millvolt gas valve enables the basket to be operated by optional remote control. The state of the art Oxygen Depletion Sensor pilot assemble constantly monitors Oxygen level in the room and will shut off gas supply to the pilot and burner if levels drop below a safe level. This basket is a problem solver as it does not require a working chimney should your old chimney not be safe and sound. And will fit that really small fireplace. See Clearance chart below. The Cascade series of vent-free gas logs have been tested and approved as an unvented room heater in the latest ANSI Z21.11 standard. These gas logs are intended for installation into solid fuel burning fireplaces, or approved unvented fireplaces, and are also approved for installation in an aftermarket manufactured (mobile) home, where not prohibited by state or local codes.
